Where is yourapplication?

The type of e-visa depends on the purpose of your stay (tourism, business, conference, long stay) and on its length. The first step of the application guides you to the visa suited to your trip.

A passport valid for six months after your arrival, a recent passport photograph, proof of accommodation and your return ticket. A yellow fever vaccination certificate may also be required.

Most complete applications are processed within a few working days. Submit yours at least two weeks before departure: an incomplete case takes longer.

It matches the arrival date given in your application, not the date of issue. Enter it carefully: it sets the period during which you may enter the country.

The period depends on the visa type and the number of entries chosen, from 30 to 90 days for a tourist stay. It is shown on the e-visa sent to you once approved.

A single entry covers one border crossing: once you have left the country, the visa is used up. Choose multiple entry if you intend to leave the country and return while the visa is valid.

The fees are paid online at the end of the application, with the payment method offered. A receipt is sent to you by email with your reference number: keep it, as you may be asked for it.

Go to “Track my application” with your reference number, your surname and your date of birth. There you can check the status of your case and download the e-visa once it is approved.

If additional information is requested, upload the documents from the tracking page and processing resumes at once. If your application is refused, the reason is given and you may apply again.

The passport used for the application and your e-visa, printed or on your phone. Border control checks the authorisation in the system and may ask for proof of your stay.

Yes: every traveller, whatever their age, must have their own e-visa, including a child recorded in a parent’s passport. The application is submitted by one of the parents or by the legal guardian.
