The Ministry of the Interior reserves the right to amend these terms at any time to reflect legislative, regulatory or technical developments. Amendments take effect as soon as they are published on this portal.
To submit an application through our official platform, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. Minors must be represented by their legal guardian.
You must hold a valid passport of a nationality eligible for the Guinea-Bissau e-Visa. Your passport must remain valid for at least six (6) months from your intended date of entry into the national territory.
This platform provides registration and processing services for entry e-Visa applications for the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. It offers several types of electronic visa suited to your travel needs (tourism, business, transit).
The processing times shown are indicative and reflect usual administrative standards. They do not guarantee issue by a fixed date. The immigration authorities alone have sovereign discretion to approve or refuse the e-Visa.
Users undertake to use the portal in good faith and in accordance with the laws applicable in the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
You certify that all the information entered in the official form is strictly accurate, complete and consistent with the details shown on your official identity documents. Any false statement, omission or falsification of information will result in the immediate cancellation of your application, without any refund.
You are responsible for providing perfectly legible digital copies of the supporting documents requested, in particular the identity page of your passport and a recent passport photograph. Failure to comply with the required formats and resolutions may delay or block the assessment process.
Assessment of the application is subject to full payment of the mandatory fees through the secure payment gateways integrated into the platform.
The applicable rates are those displayed at the final submission of your application. They include the government visa fees and the technical electronic processing fees. Transactions are processed securely in United States dollars (USD), in accordance with the terms of your bank.
In accordance with international guidelines on online immigration services, all fees paid for e-Visa processing are strictly non-refundable, whether the application is approved, refused by the administration or cancelled by the user during the process.

The Ministry endeavours to ensure the continuous availability of its platform but cannot be held liable for service interruptions caused by technical maintenance, network failures or events of force majeure beyond its control.
We accept no liability for financial or logistical losses (lost flight tickets, hotel bookings) resulting from a delay in processing your e-Visa or from a refusal decision taken by the immigration services.
The Ministry reserves the right to suspend or immediately block a user's access to the platform if it detects or suspects misuse, an attempted cyberattack or the falsification of identity data, without prejudice to any legal proceedings that may follow.
These General Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. In the event of a persistent dispute or disagreement concerning the interpretation or performance of these terms, the competent courts of Bissau shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
